Dublin City University Ladies Rugby Club travelled to Tullamore on Sunday, to take on Tullamore RFC. The morning cold did not lift for the afternoon kickoff, with mist rolling in to add further problems for both sets of player.
With only 16 players available for the match DCU did well to hold out the third placed Tullamore side for much of the match, however they were unable to hold them out forever. After a hard fought contest, and a brilliant long-ranged try from Hannah Heskin, DCU lost the match 29-5.
